Puget Sound Republican Event Calendar

The Puget Sound Republican Event Calendar is not maintained or sponsored by Eastside Republican Club, and is not an official communication from any Republican Party organization; it is a volunteer effort by Lois Gustafson and Toby Nixon, based on information submitted by calendar subscribers, and is posted here by permission. The events on the calendar are not necessarily sponsored or endorsed by ERC, but we are providing this archive of the most recent Event Calendar for the benefit of ERC members. If you would like to submit an event to the calendar, or to receive calendar updates by email, contact Lois at lygus@msn.com.

Election Observer info

There are two last observer training classes this Saturday.  One is 12-2pm and the other is 2:30-4:30pm.  Anyone interested in attending would have to contact me by noon on Friday as I have to submit a list of attendees to the elections office so they can put together training packets for the next day.  If they aren’t on my list—they won’t let them in for the class.  So it’s important that you stress that they have to email me.  I need their name, their phone number and their legislative district.  And, of course, which time they want to attend.  The first class is almost full.  jmgerringer@comcast.net

Then they must commit to observing at least once over the next couple of weeks.  I’m going to be adding a second schedule today because they are now processing ballots at night (up to 2:00am!!!).    So if people work, but still want to participate, they could observe at night or on Saturday.

Marijuana, Heroin Production and Impact on Eastside Communities

Monday, November 7th at 7pm

Redmond Ridge Rosa Parks Elem, Common Area, 22845 Cedar Park Crescent NE Redmond, WA

The Eastside has seen a growing number of Heroin/Opioid overdoses. Our high schools have lost several students. How can we combat this very serious issue along with the increased number of applications for marijuana production facilities (some near neighborhoods and community gathering places)?

Hear from State House Candidate - Deputy Mayor Ramiro Valderrama and Police Chief Benett on how the City of Sammamish addressed these issues at the local level

From Mindie Wirth for  State  Senate

Please join me, Jim Langston, and our friends with the Washington State GOP for our final Super Saturday event. We’re going to team up and Get Out The Vote! Your help is absolutely essential to victory, so if you haven’t had the chance to help out yet, the time is NOW!
