The Puget Sound Republican Event Calendar is not maintained or sponsored by Eastside Republican Club, and is not an official communication from any Republican Party organization; it is a volunteer effort by Lois Gustafson and Toby Nixon, based on information submitted by calendar subscribers, and is posted here by permission. The events on the calendar are not necessarily sponsored or endorsed by ERC, but we are providing this archive of the most recent Event Calendar for the benefit of ERC members. Opportunity of a Lifetime

Puget Sound Honor Flight regularly flies Washington’s WWII Veterans to Washington DC to visit their beautiful memorial plus the other war memorials. There is no charge to the veterans.

Be a Guardian for the veterans

To accomplish these trips, guardian escorts are needed to accompany the veterans. Please consider being a guardian on a trip so all our veterans can get there. The next trip is in October, 2015.  Many guardians are needed so all veterans who applied can go. Guardians pay their own fare of $900 all-inclusive air, hotel and meals.

Time is running out, the veterans are now in their 90s.  With more guardians stepping up, more flights with more veterans will make the trip!

Visit  www.pugetsoundhonorflight.org for more information or chat with Walter Liang, our good Republican friend who is instrumental in making Honor Flight a success. wwliang44@aol.com
