Hopefully all Republican ballots have been mailed in, I’ve left the voting resources on, just in case!  Below them are new events - a mix of copy/paste and the old format. After the November election things should slow down and I’ll get back to the ordinary format.

Tuesday, 8/5 - Primary Election Day! Be sure to post-mark your ballots by Tuesday, August 5th, or drop off your ballot at any of these Drop-Box locations.  Once turned in, you can track your ballot here. You can also find a list of the KCGOP endorsed candidates here.

By Unanimous Written Consent, the KCGOP Advisory Board has endorsed Marcus Naylor for Northeast Electoral District Judge Position No. 3

Hosted Snohomish County Republican Party Education and Awareness Committee

On July 14, 2014, Snohomish County Republican Party Education and Awareness Committee held its fifth educational forum featuring three of the nine elected Washington State Supreme Court Justices. Justice Charles Johnson, Justice Debra Stephens and Justice Mary Yu presented a comprehensive overview of the scope of cases over which the Supreme Court Justices preside.

The audience was given the opportunity to address the Justices directly with questions ranging from general informational questions to specific questions about current case decisions.

The Justices provided an excellent resource for learning more about Judges that will appear on upcoming ballots.  Information can be found at www.votingforjudges.org

Another resource: Opinions and decisions can be found at www.courts.wa.gov. This link provides a rich resource of cases presented and decisions issued by the Courts in Washington.

The audience was also directed to www.TVW.org to watch live & archived government deliberations of the Supreme Court that occur on Thursdays.

The next forum will be held on August 11th, at the Edmonds PUD.  The topic for the upcoming forum will be Education.

Family picnic: NOON on SATURDAY, AUGUST 23, Noon

One of the objectives of The Puget Sound Conservative Underground is to provide conservative fellowship. Since liberals and leftists surround us in this greater-Seattle-area, it’s good to know there really are others in our community who are in their right-minds like us! To that end, we hold our annual PSCU FAMILY PICNIC – an enjoyable get-together with fellow Conservatives, where a joke or a discussion regarding the pitfalls of Obamacare can be loudly shared around the picnic table with no fear.

The “where” of the picnic, being that we are part of the Conservative "Underground," won't be disclosed publicly, so you'll need to personally email PSCU organizer Dan Michael (dampinwa@gmail.com) to get the specific address for the picnic (at a park in South Snohomish County).
